Common Problems and Treatment of PCB Drilling-Missing Drilling

The reasons are: broken drill tip (unclear identification); pause in the middle; error in the program; delete the program accidentally; the drilling rig misses the reading while reading the data.

Solution:

(1) Treat broken drill plates separately and inspect them one by one.

(2) Restart the machine after a pause in the middle, and go back 1~2 holes to continue drilling.

(3) Once it is determined that it is an error in the engineering program, the engineering change shall be notified immediately.

(4) During the operation, the operator should try not to change or delete the program at will, and notify the engineering process when necessary.

(5) After reading the file through CAM, change the machine for production, and notify the machine repair process.

Common problems and treatment of PCB drilling-Pian Feng

The reasons are: parameter error; serious wear of the drill tip, and the blade is not sharp; the base plate density is not enough; there is debris between the base plate and the base plate, the base plate and the base plate; the base plate is bent and deformed to form a gap; the cover plate is not added; the plate material is special.

Solution:

(1) When setting parameters, strictly follow the parameter list and check and verify after setting.

(2) When drilling, control the life of the drill bit. According to the life table setting, it cannot be used beyond the life.

(3) Perform density test on the bottom plate.

(4) When nailing the board, clean up the debris between the substrates, and use rags to clean the surface of the multi-layer board.

(5) The deformation of the PCB substrate should be pressed to reduce the gap between the boards.

(6) The cover is used to protect and guide drilling. Therefore, aluminum sheet must be added when drilling. (Drill holes for non-permeable aluminum sheets)

(7) When setting parameters for drilling special plates, properly select parameters according to the quality situation, and the feed should not be too fast.

Common problems and treatment of PCB drilling-the hole is not drilled (not penetrated through the substrate)

The reasons are: improper depth; insufficient length of the drill tip; uneven platen; uneven thickness of the backing plate; broken knife or half of the drill tip, and the hole is not penetrated; the blade is inserted into the hole and the copper is not penetrated; the spindle chuck is loose. During the drilling process, the drill bit was shortened; the bottom plate was not clamped; two backing plates were added when the first plate was made or the hole was patched, and there was no change during production.

Solution:

(1) Check whether the depth is correct. (Divided into total depth and depth of each spindle)

(2) Measure whether the length of the drill bit is sufficient.

(3) Check whether the table is flat and adjust it.

(4) Measure whether the thickness of the backing plate is consistent, feedback and replace the backing plate.

(5) Positioning and re-drilling.

(6) The source of PCB batch fronts shall be checked and excluded as before, and the batch fronts shall be polished.

(7) Adjust the looseness of the spindle, clean or replace the cable nozzle.

(8) Check whether there is a backplane before the double-sided board.

(9) Make a mark and change it back to the original normal depth after drilling the first plate or completing the hole.
