SMT-PCB assembly line equipment

Printed circuit boards{Printed circuit boards}, also known as printed circuit boards, are providers of electrical connections for electronic components.
Printed circuit boards are often represented by "PCB", but cannot be called "PCB boards".
Its development has a history of more than 100 years; its design is mainly layout design; the main advantage of using circuit boards is to greatly reduce wiring and assembly errors, and improve the level of automation and production labor.
According to the number of circuit boards, it can be divided into single-sided boards, double-sided boards, four-layer boards, six-layer boards and other multilayer circuit boards.
Since the printed circuit board is not a general terminal product, the definition of the name is slightly confusing. For example, the motherboard used in personal computers is called the main board, and cannot be directly called the circuit board. Although there are circuit boards in the main board, They are not the same, so when evaluating the industry, the two are related but cannot be said to be the same. Another example: because there are integrated circuit components mounted on the circuit board, the news media call it an IC board, but in fact it is not equivalent to a printed circuit board. We usually say that the printed circuit board refers to the bare board-that is, the circuit board without upper components.

In the electronics industry, large-scale product production capacity is a must for any manufacturer who wants to be successful. In order to keep up with market demand, traditional manual labor methods have been eliminated, so that no company can have to rely on automation solutions to survive. The PC-based pick-and-place machine that can be updated in real time can quickly and accurately place the right components in the right place. Our customers want to upgrade to an automated placement machine to increase their product output and modernize the production process.

Printed circuit boards

In the production process of PCBA boards, complexity and accuracy are very critical. With a PC-based automated placement machine, the entire production process will become more cost-effective, and high-density interconnect (HDI) and high-level printing (HLC) have also been added. In order to clearly formulate such a machine, the following control components are necessary:

1. The central control card manages movement and data processing

2. Motion control card to control the movement of mechanical position

One of the current methods is to use PLC to control the nozzle and use a PC-based controller to integrate product information into the MES. However, this is not very efficient, and maintaining two different technologies is not only cumbersome and time-consuming. The newly proposed solution uses a plug-in motion control card to integrate the nozzle control and the function of providing product information to the MES in one system, and it can use Advantech PCI-1240U. PCI-1240U provides 4-axis stepping and pulse motion control. In addition, the intelligent motion ASIC on the board builds a variety of motion control functions, such as 2/3 axis linear interpolation, circular interpolation, T/S curve acceleration and Slow down and so on. These functions are executed during the job without processor loading.

Another important process in automation solutions is quality control. The quality and accuracy of each PCB should be checked by the sensor. Advantech's PCI-1756 provides 32 isolated digital inputs and 32 isolated digital outputs, with channel freezing function. It allows to reset the protection function and restore the default configuration in the event of an unexpected improper operation in the system settings. The quality of the final product can be easily guaranteed, and the overall performance level has also been significantly improved.

It is always difficult to keep up with the development trend of new technologies. However, if a PC-based pick-and-place machine is adopted, our customers will get very surplus expansion capabilities and increase overall efficiency. In this way, the goal of maintaining a high production state can be achieved.
