Topologies are relatively common in electronics. Topologies reflect the overall framework of hardware, such as the three classic topologies found in common non-isolated power supplies: buck, boost, and buck-Boost. In the process of PCB board wiring, there is also a certain topological relationship between each device, let's have a look.

1. Point-to-point topology

Very simple topology, single driver, single receiver.

2. Compact tree topology

With very short interconnection transmission line driver and receiver will be a a string together, starting from the main drive, with transmission lines connected to the first and very close to the main drive of a buffer, and then look for in the rest of the not connected buffer and has a close connection of buffer buffer, and connect with transmission lines, so on, Until all buffer connections are complete.

3. Daisy chain topology

With very short interconnection transmission lines connect all the buffers, but each buffer many only through two transmission lines connected to the other two buffers, starting from the main drive, through the transmission lines connected to and the main drive close to the buffer, then find and close to the buffer buffer is not connected, connect with transmission line, Then, based on the newly connected buffer, search for the nearest unconnected buffer to connect, and so on until all the buffer connections are completed. After the connection is completed, all the buffers are connected into a chain form from the main driver.

4. Star topology

Starting with the primary drive, all receivers are daisy-connected to the other drives through the transmission line, and then all receivers are daisy-connected to the last drive that is daisy-connected to the drive chain. If there is only one drive, that drive is in the center of the star.

5. Distal cluster

It is similar to the star, except that the last drive connected to the Daisy chain of the drive is connected to a "T" node through a long transmission line, and all receivers are also connected to the "T" node through the transmission line, all of the receivers are clustered together.

6. Hybrid topology

It is a hybrid and cross-use of the above conventional topologies.
