As a basic component in the electronic information industry chain, PCB is known as the "mother of electronic products". Looking at the distribution map of my country’s electronics industry, as the pace of development in mainland China continues to deepen, the PCB industry is also following the same pace to follow up the layout, including the Pearl River Delta Development Zone in 1994, the Yangtze River Delta Development Zone in 2000, and the Bohai Rim Development Zone in 2005. Districts and the Western Triangle Development Zone, where the central government began to promote the development of the Great Western Region in 2010, can see the progress of the PCB industry everywhere. Chip decryption.
Chip decryption related data shows that the mainland circuit board industry, which has blossomed everywhere, is still the world's largest PCB manufacturing site. In 2014, the total global PCB output value reached 57.437 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 2.3% year-on-year; of this, China's PCB contributed an output value of 26.1 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year, and the growth rate was the highest in the world; China's domestic and foreign-funded PCBs accounted for 45.5% of the world’s total. Already accounted for nearly half of the world's share, the advantage is very obvious. However, in the global PCB industry structure, although China's manufacturing has always been high expectations, its performance has been unsatisfactory. It has long been in the middle and lower reaches of the industry, and essentially cannot get rid of the label of "foundry power". Especially now that the global economy has begun to recover slowly, emerging markets represented by India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. are in the ascendant, coupled with the rising price of PCB raw materials, the domestic ability to control environmental protection and energy conservation has been continuously strengthened, and "Made in China" is gradually losing its low. Price advantage, development speed and quality are naturally no longer strong.
Another factor that cannot be ignored is that China's circuit board industry mainly covers the middle and low-end parts (double-sided, multi-layer boards). It is an indisputable fact that the single product type has insufficient innovation momentum and the gap between developed countries has widened. Compared with 2013, the output value of domestic multilayer boards in 2014 increased by 3.9%, and the output value of single/dual panels increased by 2.1%, mainly used in PC, NB, communications, consumer electronics and other fields; the output value of HDI boards increased by 2.1%, mainly used in Mobile terminal products such as mobile phones. Although the demand for various PCB circuit boards has increased, the growth of soft boards and IC substrates is not optimistic, and still lags behind Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and other regions. And because a large number of mainland Chinese manufacturers are advancing, the cruel price competition has become increasingly fierce, and it has become a problem for board manufacturers to even take orders. How to face the ever-changing market environment has become an important issue that the industry needs to solve urgently.
