Cause 1: Nozzle problems, such as nozzle distortion, blockage, damage caused by insufficient air pressure, air leakage, caused suction can not be picked up, improper material extraction, recognition can not pass but PCBA throws.
Countermeasure: Clean and replace nozzle;
Cause 2: Feeder problem, incorrect feeder setup, position distortion, bad feeding mechanism cause inaccessible or poor feeding and PCBA throwing.
Countermeasure: reset feeder, clean up equipment, calibrate or change feeder.
Reason 3: Recognition system problems, poor vision, unclean vision or laser lens, foreign object interference recognition, improper selection of recognition light source or insufficient intensity, gray level, or possibly bad recognition system.
Countermeasure: Clean and wipe the surface of the recognition system, keep it clean and free of foreign objects, oil pollution interference, adjust the intensity and gray level of the light source, and replace the parts of the recognition system;
Cause 4: Position problem, position offset, nozzle is not in the center of the material when sucking up, and the height of the material is incorrect (usually 0.05 mm after touching the part) which causes the offset, the material is not correct, there is an offset, and the identifying system discards it as invalid material when it does not match the corresponding data parameters.
Countermeasure: adjust parameters such as feeding position and height;
Cause 5: Vacuum problem, insufficient air pressure, insufficient vacuum tracheal passage, foreign body blocking the vacuum pipe, or vacuum leakage causing insufficient air pressure to pick up materials or fall off during pasting.
Countermeasure: Adjust the pressure value from the steep slope of air pressure to the requirement of equipment (the requirement of general patch machine is 0.5~0.6 Mpa), clean the ventilation pressure pipe, repair the leaking air path;
Cause 6: Procedural problems of the slicer, incorrect settings of component parameters in the program being edited, inconsistent with parameters such as material size and brightness of the incoming material, cause recognition to fail and be discarded.
Countermeasure: Modify element parameters to search for the best parameter value of the element;
Cause 7: Problem of incoming materials, irregular incoming materials, or substandard products such as pin oxidation of incoming materials.
Countermeasure: IQC should do well in incoming material detection and contact component supplier;
Cause 8: Problems with the feeder, distortion of the feeder, bad feeding of the feeder (damaged feeder spike gear, no hole in the belt is stuck on the spike gear of the feeder, foreign objects are under the feeder, aging spring, insufficient force, or poor electrical), resulting in inaccessible or poor feeding and PCBA throwing, as well as damage to the feeder.
Countermeasure: Correct feeder, clean feeder platform, replace broken parts or feeder;
According to relevant research, static electricity is also a cause of PCBA throwing, so the patch machine should be grounded and anti-static work should be done well in the production site.
It is normal for the patch machine to throw PCBA, but if the high throwing rate of PCBA seriously affects the production efficiency and production costs, it must be solved. When there is a serious PCBA throwing phenomenon, you can first ask the field personnel, through the description, and then according to the above seven reasons, observe and analyze to find out the problem directly, so as to find out the reason more effectively, to solve it, while improving the production efficiency, but taking up too much machine production time.
