Generally, there are two ways to fix the equipment on the printed circuit board: horizontal and vertical, as shown in Figure 1.

(1) Vertical equipment
The element equipment occupies a small area and is suitable for printed boards that require compact placement of components. The benefit of the vertical equipment is to save the area of the printed board; the defect is that it is easy to fall, and it is easy to form a bump between the components, and the anti-vibration is only adjusted, and then the reliability of the whole machine is reduced.

(2) Horizontal equipment

Compared with the vertical equipment, it has the advantages of good mechanical stability, regular layout, good vibration resistance, equipment repairing square fort and conducive to the layout of printed wires. The disadvantage is that the area occupied by the printed board is larger than that of a vertical device.


2. The layout of meta equipment
The layout of meta-equipment is divided into two types: irregular and regular, as shown in Figure 2. These two methods can be used alone or together on the printed circuit board.

(1) Irregularly placed
Especially suitable for high frequency circuits. The axis directions of the meta equipment are different from each other, and there is no rule to place them in order. This makes the layout of printed wires very convenient, can shorten and reduce the connection of components and equipment, and greatly reduce the total length of printed wires on the layout. It is very beneficial to improve the distribution parameters of the circuit board and suppress disturbance.
(2) Place it in a proper manner
The axis directions of the components are placed together, the layout is beautiful and regular, and the equipment, welding, debugging, and repairing are convenient, which are mostly used by non-high-frequency circuits.
