The advantage of low DK in the design of high-speed PCB, in addition to the advantage of wiring space, the lower DK makes the signal transmission speed faster, and the delay difference is smaller under the same length error. The lower DK can make the wiring wider under the same dielectric thickness, avoid the manufacturing difficulties (costs) caused by too thin linewidth, reduce the influence of processing factors on the transmission line (performance), and reduce the conductor loss (performance). Backplane PCB has always been a professional product in PCB manufacturing industry. The backplane is thicker and heavier than conventional PCB, and its heat capacity is also larger. In view of the slow cooling rate of back plate, the length of reflow furnace should be lengthened. It also needs to be forced air cooled at the outlet to reduce the backplane temperature to a safe level of operation.
