At present, patch resistors are common packages, including 01005, 0201, 0420, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812, 2010 and 2512. At the same time, patch resistors are also represented by two size codes. One chip resistor size code is composed of EIA (American Electronics Industry Association) code. The first two digits and the last two digits of the other chip resistor represent the length and width of the resistor respectively, in inches. For example, the 0603 package we often say refers to English code. The other 1608 is a metric code, which is also represented by 4 digits. Its unit is mm to represent the patch resistance.
