Tip 1: the definition of processing level should be clear

When there are unclear places in the document, be sure to check with professional engineers, so as to reduce the probability of plate making errors. In addition, when designing a single-sided circuit board, pay attention to special instructions. If there are no special instructions, such as positive and negative, the designed circuit board may not be welded, so pay attention.


Tip 2: the distance between the copper foil and the outer frame should not be too close

According to the experience of professional engineers, the distance between large-area copper foil and the outer frame should be kept at least more than 0.2mm, so pay special attention during operation. If this distance is less than 0.2mm, the solder resist may fall off.


Tip 3: do not use filler blocks to draw pads

This skill is ignored by many novices, because drawing pads with filler blocks is OK in circuit board design and can pass DRC inspection, but it cannot be used in processing, because such pads can not directly generate solder resist. When applying solder resist, the area will be covered by solder resist, resulting in very difficult component welding.


Skill 4: the electrical layer cannot spend the coexistence of pad and wire

According to Xiaobian, when some engineers design circuit boards, there will be flower pads and wiring in the electrical layer. This situation is wrong. Because the stratum is different from the image on the actual printed board, they are the opposite. All wires are barrier wires, and no gap can be left, otherwise it is easy to cause short circuit of power supply.


Tip 5: the pad should not be too short

If the bonding pad of surface mounted components is too short, it is easy to have the test pin wrong. Because of too dense pads, the spacing between the two feet is very small, and the pads are also very thin. When installing the test needle, it must be staggered up and down to complete, otherwise this will happen.


Tip 6: pads cannot overlap

Pad overlap can easily lead to scrapping during drilling. Therefore, the pads must not overlap.
