PCB Board for Battery Protection

Battery protection PCB board, as the name implies, lithium battery protection PCB board is mainly for rechargeable (generally refers to lithium battery) to protect the integrated PCB board. The reason why lithium battery (rechargeable type) needs protection is determined by its own characteristics. Due to the material of lithium battery, it can not be overcharged, over discharged, over current, short circuit and ultra-high temperature charge and discharge. Therefore, lithium battery components always follow a protective PCB with sampling resistance and a current protector.

The main functions of battery protection PCB board are as follows:

1. Overcharge protection: charging directly on the mobile phone with the original direct charging device will automatically open the protection circuit of the battery protection board.

2. Discharge protection, short-circuit the positive and negative electrodes of the battery instantaneously. Just see the spark on the electrode piece. Try it several times, and then charge directly.

3. For over-current and short-circuit protection, find a 5V DC, touch the positive and negative electrodes of the battery with positive and negative electrodes, try several more times, and then charge with the original charger.
